Role - Hardware Design Engineer
Salary - $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus (dependent on experience)
Type - Permanent
Location - Milford, CT
My client works within the Consumer Electronics sector are looking to take on an additional two Hardware Design Engineers in order to further develop their R&D and Design departments in Milford, CT.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Designing Analog, Digital and Micro-controller circuitry.
Those with experience in the full lifecycle design of Machinery, Robotics or incorporating Vision Systems will be of particular interest.
The Hardware Design Engineer will have the following attributes:
- BS (or similar) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience of Electronic Hardware / PCBA Design experience.
- Proficiency in design of Schematics using Altium.
- Some software development experience (C / C++).
- Experience with Electronic test apparatus such as Oscilloscopes.
- Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written.
The Hardware Design Engineer’s role will involve:
- Designing and verifying Electronic Circuitry for industrial machinery and equipment.
- Debugging and and supporting the build of complex PCBAs
- Creation of test procedures.
- Supporting testing and certification of designs to relevant safety standards.
- Participating in full lifecycle Design and Project work – working closely with customers and other teams.
- Preparing and delivering technical reports.
