MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS A HARD SKILLS TRAINER - JOB READINESS COACH

As a Hard Skills Trainer - Job Readiness Coach at our nonprofit, you arrive each day ready to set up for the day's sessions and review your lesson plan, ensuring that you are presenting approved content with clear objectives and outcomes.

Once the learners arrive, you take charge of the session, commanding their attention and respect. Mastery of small group facilitation techniques and the ability to present content in each of the three learning modes is essential for effective training. You give feedback and encourage life-long learning. Outside of teaching, you keep track of attendance and record data for weekly and monthly performance indicators. You also assist with rapid job searching, resume writing, and teaching interview skills.

You guide learners through a learn-by-doing process, ensure that the office is open during contractual office hours, and submit work orders for supplies as needed. Whether you have previous experience as a trainer or are just starting your career in the nonprofit sector, we offer opportunities for professional development and growth. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A HARD SKILLS TRAINER - JOB READINESS COACH

  • 3+ years of experience in Job Readiness training, education, or a related field
  • 1 or more credentials for training in hospitality, Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Microsoft Office, IC3 (Digital Literacy), National Work Readiness Credential, National Retail Federation Certification, etc
  • Covid-19 vaccination

A bachelor's degree or higher in adult education, education, human relations, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
