We are a small business with 4 locations in North NJ. We are in the gift-giving and fruit-basket industry and are looking for a talented and flexible part-time Handyman to conduct general property maintenance, repairs, and and also willing to be a pinch hitter delivery driver during our busiest seasons such as Valentine's day and Mother's day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
- Repair or replace broken or damaged fixtures, appliances, and equipment
- Install or assemble furniture, fixtures, and other items as needed
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as required
- Handle basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical tasks
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance and repair techniques
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
