Handyman / Carpenter (Part - Time)
Description
The Augusta Museum of History is looking to hire a handyman immediately. Construction/carpentry experience is a plus.

Knowledge, abilities, skills
- Ability to remove carpet and seal concrete floor
- Change HVAC filters and clean coils
- Move exhibit furniture.
- Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, and other parts of the building.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of activities.
- Ability to work with others.
- Must have physical ability to use diverse hand and power tools,
- Must have the ability to climb on a ladder.
- Must be able to lift and/or move heavy objects (minimum 50 pounds)
Experience:
At least three years’ experience in general handyman activities, or equivalent experience.

Starting salary: $15 - $20/hour, depending on experience.
Hours: Monday – Wednesday, 8:30am – 12:30pm
