A Maintenance Technician is a skilled individual who is versatile in performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance, repair, and improvement of residential or commercial properties.

Job Duties

• Repair and Maintenance: Fixing plumbing issues, such as leaks and clogs.

Repairing or replacing electrical fixtures and components.Patching or replacing damaged walls, ceilings, or floors.Repairing or replacing doors, windows, and locks.Fixing or installing appliances.

• Carpentry:Building or repairing furniture.

Installing or repairing cabinets and shelves.Constructing or repairing wooden structures.

• Painting:Painting walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.

Touching up or repainting damaged areas.Applying varnish or sealant as needed.

• Landscaping:Mowing lawns and trimming hedges.

Planting flowers, trees, or shrubs.General yard maintenance.

• General Plumbing:Fixing leaks and drips.

Installing or repairing faucets and pipes.Unblocking drains and toilets.

• Electrical Work:Replacing light fixtures and switches.

Fixing electrical outlets.Basic troubleshooting of electrical issues.

• Appliance Repair:Repairing or installing household appliances.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing appliance problems.

• HVAC Maintenance:Changing air filters.

Cleaning or servicing heating and cooling systems.Basic HVAC troubleshooting.

• Assembling and Installing:Assembling furniture or equipment.

Installing fixtures, appliances, or equipment.

• Communication:Interacting with clients to understand their needs.

Providing estimates for jobs.Communicating progress and any additional requirements.

• Safety:Ensuring that all work is performed safely.

Adhering to relevant safety codes and regulations.

• Documentation:Keeping records of work performed.

Maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools.

• Time Management:Planning and prioritizing tasks efficiently.

Meeting deadlines for project completion.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $500.00 per day
