SKILLS/QUALIFICATAIONS:
- Minimum 1-year experience in nail and hair services.
- Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and coordination skills.
- Skilled in multi-tasking.
- Pleasant personality, team oriented and enjoys working with and assisting guests and associates.
- Adaptability to varying schedule changes and flexibility with schedule including ability to work holidays.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
- Nevada State Board of Cosmetology License specializing in nails or full cosmetology.
- Clark County Health Card.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES:Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Perform salon services as assigned according to spa and salon policies, protocols and standards.
- Analyze and consult about nail and hair care with guests.
- Assist Lead and/or Spa Manager in ordering of salon products.
- Assist in conducting monthly inventory.
- Monitor salon and equipment status and maintenance.
- Ability or work under time constraints.
- Have the concept of product knowledge and retail sales. Assist in achieving retail sales goals.
- Have knowledge and usage of equipment and implements.
- Have knowledge of state board regulations for disinfecting and cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work without an assistant.
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, and at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.

Work is performed in a spa and salon environment and in other locations throughout the property. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
