Haas Cnc Programmer/Operator (3+ Month Contract)

Position Overview:

As a CNC Programmer/Operator specializing in Haas CNC Mills, you will be responsible for translating engineering drawings into CNC programs, setting up the machines, and producing precision components. This role requires proficiency in Haas CNC controls, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is a 3 Month Contract with potential to go longer.

Responsibilities:

• CNC Programming:
• Develop CNC programs for Haas CNC Mills based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Optimize programs for efficiency and quality, considering tool paths, speeds, and feeds.
• Machine Setup and Operation:
• Set up Haas CNC Mills, including loading tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to job orders.
• Quality Assurance:
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure the accuracy and quality of machined parts.
• Make necessary adjustments to programs and machine settings to meet quality standards.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address any mechanical or technical issues.
• Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, setup sheets, and production reports.
• Document any changes made to programs or machine settings for future reference.
