Oversee open gym activities and Birthday Party rentals at the Heritage Crossing Field House.

Representative Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains a positive community image for the District.
- Strives to maintain a positive environment among the District's organizational divisions.
- Actively supports the Safety Policy and the District's established loss control program, including training, safety rules, and developing ideas for the prevention of incidents, while providing a safe environment for Park District staff members and patrons.
- Provides a fun, safe environment for all participants in both the open gym activities and birthday parties.
- Maintains a positive community image for the Park District.
- Oversees all activities during the open gym session.
- Enforces the "no food/drink policy" during the open gym session.
- Communicates any unusual activities or problems (i.e. broken equipment) to the Facility Coordinator.
- Follows all operational guidelines for the facility.
- Works independently during the open gym session.
- Ability to work well with another staff person for the birthday parties.
Representative Marginal Job Functions:
- Physical set-up of recreational/athletic programs and events.
- Stresses customer service.
- Sets up/ takes down the party room for birthday parties.
- Organizes age appropriate games for each Birthday Party.
- Sets up/takes down batting cage and operate the pitching machine.
- Performs other duties relating to the position as directed.
Position Considerations:
- Must have the ability to organize games for groups of children.
- Displays good safety awareness.
- Required to work evenings and weekends.
- Must maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
