RISENY, a new world-class exhibition and attraction in the heart of Times Square is hiring Guest Service Team Members! At RISENY, you will play a dynamic, interactive role with a specific focus on the guest experience. These positions will be integral in providing a unique, memorable experience while ensuring a safe environment for our guests.
Seasonal employees will be brought in for the busier months, approximately through early January. Depending on business needs, there may be the option for seasonal employees to continue their employment.
Responsibilities:
- Need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and able to multitask in a fast pace, interactive environment.
- Perform various "front of house" duties including greeting, coat/bag check, ticket scanning, providing directions, crowd control, photo-taking.
- Additional duties include delivering safety instructions, spiels, and narrations of varying lengths, selling tickets at box office, selling merchandise at gift shop, as well as assisting guests in and around the flying theater ride experience.
- Safety-sensitive duties including facilitating guests boarding and de-boarding the flying theater ride experience.
- Friendly communication skills and excellent customer service skills are a must.
- An appreciation for New York City is ideal, as the entire attraction is themed toward the history and culture of NYC.
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including non-traditional hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service, preferably in an attraction, entertainment, or hospitality environment (required)
- Experience in ride-based attractions is a plus.
- Multi-lingual capabilities are a plus.
- Energetic and outgoing personality with a creative and proactive approach to work
- Cash handling experience is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
