Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is seeking a Housekeeper (Guest Room Attendant) to join the team of our brand-new upscale hotel. Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU provides Tempe with 330 beautiful new Guest Rooms, 36,000 square feet of event space, and four new food and beverage outlets. Featuring a rooftop upscale restaurant and the largest ballroom in the area, we expect to provide elevated options for our guests for dining and entertainment.

• Thoroughly clean Guest Rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Restock and replace used items within Guest Rooms.
• Complete daily task sheet assignment in a timely manner.
• Communicate clean status of each room upon completion.
• Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all times.
• Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner.
• Maintain and protect equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in floor linen closets.
• Report and monitor Guest Room maintenance issues.
• Understand both Houseperson and Public Space positions well enough to perform duties in associates’ absence.
• Maintain highest levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel property.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects as assigned.
• Anticipate, listen, and follow through with all the guests’ requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate any needs or concerns within the hotel with the appropriate departments.
• Follow all Loss Prevention procedures regarding guest property, safety, and security.
• Reporting any concerns to department managers or loss prevention in a timely manner.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.

• Housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Move, bend, lift up to 35 pounds, carry, push and/or pull up to 150 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work PM shift.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.

This position is a full-time, on-site position with no work from home flexibility.

The salary is $19 / hour.
