JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment of the patients, visitors, and staff of Regions Hospital at our various entrances. In addition, this role will ensure that excellent customer service will be provided consistently to all patients, guests and staff that enter our facility. Guest Experience Security Representatives provide a variety of services ranging from assisting visitors in locating patients, communicating with hospital staff regarding visits, escorting visitors to various locations within the hospital and implementing de-escalation strategies as needed.
Work Schedule:
9:00am-5:30pm, every other weekend rotation
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a customer service, patient care, guest service, mental health patient care setting or position using de-escalation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post high school education in the field of law enforcement.
- One year of experience working in security, Law Enforcement, Military or in Mental Health. Law Enforcement Enrollment/Certification may be substituted.
