Job Description
Spavia Blue Oaks is seeking passionate individuals with spa experience and schedule flexibility for a Guest Advisor position for approximately 30-35 hours per week. Weekends are required with opening, and closing shifts with possible coverage of others when needed. The position could be split into two more part-time positions.

Spavia Day Spa - Blue Oaks guests enjoy luxurious spa amenities along with a full variety of award winning treatments. We provide a full variety of massage, skincare, spray tanning, full body waxing, and body wraps/scrubs! We strive to provide an exceptional experience for every guest, every visit. We couldn't complete any of this without strong, passionate, capable Guest Advisors.

As a Guest Advisor, you are the face of our spa. Our Guest Advisors portray a polished and professional demeanor at all times. Guest advisors are friendly, courteous and work hard going above and beyond so each guest feels as if they’re a guest in our home. We pride ourselves in hiring quality professionals who advocate the true meaning of an exceptional guest experience and build a long lasting rapport for guests to return again and again.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting guests
• Scheduling appointments and answering phones
• Checking guests in and out and ensuring accuracy of all transactions
• Membership, spa boutique and product sales
• Maintaining a beautiful spa, retail space, reception area, and guest areas at all times.
• Provide education to guests regarding our spavia story, our spa boutique products and items, and our treatments offered for optimal results
• Maintain and provide accurate and timely responses to all guest inquiries and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
• Wash and fold linens used by guests and used by specialists in services.
• Disinfecting lockers and other guest touch points between services
• Willingness to work hard and as a team player to proactively support the spa’s needs
• Attention to detail in all aspects of Guest Advisor responsibilities

Requirements:

• Ability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays required.
• Flexibility and availability to work opening, closing, weekend, or other shifts as needed.
• Spa or beauty industry experience preferred
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills in a spa environment
• Strong communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Self motivated with attention to detail
• Reliable, ethical, punctual, passionate, team player and goal-driven
• Drug/alcohol free
• Ability to multitask and move quickly a high paced environment
• Combined education and previous customer service / and retail experience is strongly desired
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs

*Part-time position, must be available for both day and evening shifts. Must be available for Saturday, Sunday, and holiday shifts. 30-35 hours per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
