Perform system level clearance evaluations using whole engine model including hot-to-cold conversion
Lead design of clearance control system such as ACC, PCC or HCO
Lead technical systems integration between various gas turbine component design teams
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum 10 years of successful experience in gas turbine
Minimum 5 years of successful experience in GT Clearance
Experience in whole engine modeling including axial and radial clearance evaluation, clearance control system design experience preferred
Desired:
Master's degree in an engineering or science discipline from an accredited college or university
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Mechanical design and detailed design knowledge of gas turbines and their operation, hot gas component design experience preferred
Proficiency in one or more computational modeling (CAE) tools such as Ansys, SC03, Abaqus, (NASTRAN, ProE, Unigraphics is plus, but not required)
Demonstrated ability in working in a cross-cultural team involving members from all across the globe
Develop Risk assessments (FMEA) and participate in Root-Cause investigations for gas turbine systems
