Description

Mpls.St.Paul Magazine is searching for a creative, driven, and business development-oriented marketing professional to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping our revenue growth strategy. Your Impact:

You will work directly with the business development team, contributing to our efforts to grow advertising revenue. Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and accelerate the sales pipeline.
  • Utilize tactics, including custom landing pages, webinars, digital marketing, and in-person B2B events.
  • Maintain and enhance marketing automation systems.
  • Create compelling value propositions and innovative content plans to engage both current clients and drive new lead generation opportunities.

CRM Management:

  • Develop and manage smart target lists following best practices.
  • Analyze and communicate campaign performance to sales leadership, optimizing programs.
  • Manage CRM vendor relationships.
  • Serve as the resident expert for our CRM for our team staying up to date on new features and making implementation recommendations based on critical knowledge.

Marketing:

  • Work with sales leaders to develop and execute a comprehensive Growth Marketing strategy.
  • In coordination with our Creative Services Team develop and execute promotional, sales collateral, and other marketing tactics through completion
  • Ideate and execute demand generation plans via marketing automation, social, and other digital efforts.
  • Create inspiring B2B content, such as case studies, landing pages, and testimonials.
  • Utilize mediums like copy, data, and video to engage current and future advertisers.
  • Maintain and enhance marketing automation systems.
  • Develop and execute promotional, sales collateral, and other marketing tactics through completion.
  • Create and analyze market reports using tools like Nielsen Scarborough.
  • Manage reporting for marketing campaigns to assess performance and business impact.

Management:

  • Lead and mentor the Sales Support group, including the Client Relations Specialist and sales intern.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience within sales marketing operations with in-depth knowledge of CRM systems and their integration into marketing strategies.
  • Experience using HubSpot or another email marketing platform.
  • Tech-savvy and data-oriented.
  • Requires a high level of creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Eager to learn new systems while supporting critical business processes.
  • Thrives in cross-functional teams and is a quick learner.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, verbal and written communication, and math skills.
  • Must have strong relationship-building, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple products.
