Helix by HL, a division of TIFIN, is the first-of-its-kind generative AI assistant for the private markets industry and is set to redefine the landscape of alternative investment innovation. It combines TIFIN's technological expertise with Hamilton Lane's industry-leading database that draws on more than $16.7 trillion in private market commitments across 51 vintage years, along with an expansive library of expert, research-based market analysis, as of September 30, 2023. Helix provides data-centric information around private markets benchmarking, forecasting, and diligence and will help educate private wealth investors and their intermediaries on the asset class and current trends within the private markets.

Helix was recently funded by FINTOP capital in a Seed+ round as of December 2023.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

We are looking for an experienced growth marketer to join this recently funded generative AI start-up set to redefine how financial advisors and other wealth managers interact with and execute alternative investment strategies with their clients. 

As the Head of Growth Marketing for Helix, you will report straight to the CEO, and be an integral part of the team spearheading our go-to-market marketing efforts to bring this exciting new technology to the world of alternative investments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve, building out the marketing function at Helix, and partnering in close collaboration with the Sales and Success teams to maintain and accelerate our growth trajectory, while developing cutting-edge strategies to solidify our market presence, create demand, and generate wealth management firm leads.

We are looking for a swiss army knife marketing executive, who is comfortable being the first dedicated marketer and can serve as a high-impact individual contributor in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies and sales collateral to drive marketing qualified leads for the sales team 
  • Lead brand, event, and channel marketing initiatives to elevate Helix's profile in the wealth management industry 
  • Design and launch new funnels: from ad targeting, channel selection, social media/landing page design, copy, retargeting, analytics, and reporting, to continuous improvement.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed marketing decisions and optimize campaigns.
  • Manage the company's marketing resources including marketing budget, technology platforms, vendors and agencies
  • Champion the Helix brand, ensuring consistency and impact in all marketing communications.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 7+ years in marketing, with growth experience in fintech, data tech/AI, or other translatable B2B SaaS sectors
  • Previous experience in a start-up or lean agency environments where you have worn many hats is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of alternative investments and private market investments is a bonus
  • A general understanding of Generative AI and Large-language models is a bonus
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing plans
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a team and engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • A deep understanding of the latest marketing trends and technologies, particularly in the tech industry, and a keen interest in new technologies and software
  • Self-starter excited about fintech and eager to join a new team and contribute from day one
  • A local presence in the Greater New York City area, and the ability to be in person 3 days a week 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE: For New York Applicants: The expected starting salary range for this position in New York City is between $110,000 - $135,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
