Group Reservation Agent Golden Entertainment Corporate (Las Vegas, NV) Description:
Summary: Assists OTA (Online Travel Agency) partners and guests with incoming phone calls and inquiries regarding reservations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Answers and handles all incoming calls to Groups Reservation from outside or within the properties
- Input rooming list from fax or email
- Scan reservations received by fax (TBA)
- Reply to OTA emails
- Access OTA extranets
- Notifies Revenue Management team of all irregularities, customer problems or related area of difficulty
- Performs other administrative duties as required by Revenue Management Team
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six months of experience in a customer service position, preferably with the hospitality industry
- Ability to apply commonsense to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Must be available to work all schedules
- Ability to type 40 words per minute
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
