Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Group Manager to join our Consumer Latin America team. You will be responsible for overseeing EAI Latin America Consumer MarComm strategies. You will also be responsible for guiding and creating aligned Marketing strategies in collaboration with Sales and Product Management strategies for all key product segments to support the achievement of annual sales goals. This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.
Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Marketing Strategy
- Oversees the MarComm strategies, media plans and content throughout product lifecycles
- Develops integrated marketing communication plans, communication platforms and core strategies
- Drives marketing execution for Epson's consumer products against key retail and business customers
- Maintains a deep understanding of Epson’s retail markets and competition based on a synthesis of appropriate data, including: primary and secondary market research, customer feedback, sales and market data, product evaluations, and industry network
- Determines key priorities for team efforts in the areas of retail marketing, horizontal marketing, lead management, training, channel communication, PR, and sales enablement tools
- Leads development of marketing campaigns that span across multiple Epson product lines, customers and targeted key business verticals
Marketing Communication
- Ensures marketing communications strategies are developed in collaboration and approval with MarComm Managers, Product Management and Subsidiaries
- Ensures Integrated Marketing Services team supports the creation of annual plans for marketing outreach, training, partner communications, tradeshows and lead management
- Manages the Latin America MarComm agency relationship and oversees the management of forecasting and control of the EAI MarComm budget for Latin America
Product Readiness
- Guides Consumer Product Management on the development of product positioning and marketing strategies
- Oversees the MarComm planning process in support of product launches
- Oversees the process of developing product packaging, merchandising and product collateral
- Manages the consistency of product positioning and marketing priorities
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and communication strategy development for the Latin America consumer business
- Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience
- Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is required. Portuguese is a plus
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $152,159 and $209,219. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
