As the part time Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Associate Campus Pastor at Willow South Barrington and the South Barrington Group Life team. You will be able to develop and equip administrative volunteers to provide administrative and organizational support to our Groups Pastors. In addition you will provide support in purchasing and operations, departmental budget oversight, calendar management, office management, meeting and event logistics, and communication with staff and congregants. Your love and joy for serving and supporting others will shine in this role.

This position is about 20 hours per week and the salary range for this position is about $18.50/hour to $24/hour depending on experience and skills set. Our part time benefits package includes voluntary paid life insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off Dec 26th - Jan 1 and the week of July 4th, paid time off accrual, mental health counseling reimbursement, and more.
Job Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the administrative responsibilities of the Group life team including meeting/room setups, expense reimbursements, meeting preparation, procuring supplies, and anticipating the needs of the team.
- Provide light administrative support to the Associate Campus Pastor in regards to meeting preparation & set up, budgeting, invoicing and reimbursements.
- Recruit, develop, support and motivate the volunteer Groups Admin team as they support the Groups Pastors.
- Assist with email management by drafting responses, acting on meeting requests, and archiving important items
- Manage expense reports and reimbursements for the team
- Support in event planning for campus events and meetings, donor events, groups events, etc

Education and Experience:
- High-school education or GED required
- Prior higher level paid Administrative Assistant experience
- Experience in event planning would be a plus.
