Job Description
- Responsible for obtaining prescriptions for current unit dose customers
- Generates accurate billing documents to be faxed to physicians for signature and date
- Handles incoming customer service calls
- Handles problems/situations with current/past billing forms and customer service issues
- Instructs and manages Rx Verification team on receiving and entering Rxs, billing forms, held sales reports, Rx verification queue, customer service queue, customer service calls, and pharmacy support
- Instructs and manages Clerical Sales Support team
- Provides support to the Rx Verification and Clerical Sales Support teams
- Provides instruction and support as needed to personnel and other departments
- Maintains daily/weekly/monthly reports on user activity
- Assists Data Coordination Supervisor in providing guidance and motivation for Rx Verification and Clerical Sales Support team in managing work flow in order to accomplish established goals
- Works with Data Coordination Supervisor to maintain and update standard Rx Verification and Clerical Sales Support training manual for employees
