Group Leader

Duties

- Provide leadership and guidance to team members

- Maintain accurate records of team members' attendance, peformance, and behavior

- Maintain a safe working environment while ensuring use of safety practices

- Ensure compliance with OSHA and any other environmental/occupational guidelines/regulations

- Ensure all shipping, receiving, warehousing loading and unloading procedures are followed - Ensure relative documentation is created and/or entered into computerized system for all inbound/outbound shipments

- Participate with management in developing and implementing programs to comply with internal control, quality system and Toyota’s production system

- Ensure group compliance with company, client, and governmental policies and regulations

- Enhance knowledge of job-related operations

- Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- High school diploma; Associate degree

- 5-6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Ability to write reports, correspondences, operational procedures and work instructions

- Must have excellent team building and conflict resolution skills.

- Ability to effectively present information to managers, clients, customers and employees

- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions

- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

- Must possess good communication skills as well as organizational/problem solving skills

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variety of complex situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
