We serve the most amazing people with Developmental Disabilities! We are looking for some compassionate and fun loving people to help the individuals we serve LIVE life in their own homes and in their own ways!!

We are looking for caring DSPs to work:

3rd shift 9p to 9a every other weekend

part time 2-9p and every other weekend 9a to 9p

Full time some 6a to 9a and 2p to 9p and every other weekend

Direct Support Professional Job Description

Direct support professionals (DSPs) are people who work directly with Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities with the aim of assisting them to integrate with their communities. A DSP is a hero responsible to provide direct services and support to the individual, including, but not limited to: assisting in maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation and completion of various household tasks; supervising, teaching, and assisting the individual in every aspect of their life, with the goals of fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment. A DSP may provide transportation and supports to a Individual at home, work, school, and other community places. A DSP is also an advocate, helping people in communicating needs, self-expression, and goals as well as assuring justice and equality in community life.

Job Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED, Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with no more than 5 points, willingness to train to pass medications to individuals served, excellent communication and people skills needed, must be flexible and have good time management skills.
