We are searching for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced fitness professional to lead our Strength Training Group Classes and manage Administrative Operations. Our gym specializes in Functional Bodybuilding, blending traditional strength training with functional movements, bodybuilding techniques, powerlifting, and metabolic conditioning. We cater to a diverse group of members, focusing on beginner to intermediate trainees, emphasizing proper form, movement, and technique.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and instruct functional strength and conditioning classes for up to 15 people.
- The working hours are from 5 am to 9 am, with with possible Saturday mornings.
- Ensure proper mechanics and safety in strength training.
- Providing proper modifications or progressions to members according to their fitness level.
- Being a presence on the floor. Not a cheerleader, but a coach who can motivate, challenge, and can also correct form and connect with members.
- Aiding in member retention by working closely with members to help each person achieve their individual goals.
- Manage client accounts, track attendance, and handle billing through our client management software.
- Engage in accountability coaching, event coordination, and general operations.
- Perform consultations to assist members in achieving their fitness goals.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym.
- Create engaging content for social media and assist in marketing efforts.
- Coordinate events and workshops.
- Work closely with management as a key team member, serving as a pivotal contributor in driving the gym's success and operational excellence.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Energetic, motivating, and experienced in fitness training.
- Knowledgeable in functional bodybuilding and strength training.
- A team player who is hardworking, very reliable, and keen on building long-term relationships with our community.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and experience in administrative work.
- Proficient in using computer programs such as Google Drive and Microsoft Office, and adept at social media.
- Ideally resides in close proximity to our gym in Northwest Houston, or has a convenient commute. This is to ensure reliability and punctuality, especially for our early morning sessions.
