Essential Functions:
• Developing relationships while delivering safe and effective programs specific to program audience.
• Using innovation and creativity to increase participant satisfaction.
• Enforcing safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pools and aquatic area.
• Adhering to work schedule and substitute for other Group Exercise Water Instructors when needed.
• Performing equipment checks and ensure appropriate equipment is available as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, neat pool environment.
• Following emergency procedures and safety precautions. Follow procedures for reporting all accidents, incidents and hazards.
• Adhering to all policies, rules, and regulations as outlined in employee handbook and other communications. Obtaining and maintaining required training(s).
• Accepting additional assignments as deemed appropriate, within the scope of the job description.
Starting pay: $12.50 per hour.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
• National Group Exercise Certification or equivalent experience required or obtained within agreed upon time frame.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Physical ability and stamina to demonstrate proper exercise form and technique.
• Use of a variety of fitness class equipment.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform the activities specific to the program, including but not limited to bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and carrying no more than 30 pounds.
