Residents of California: Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $20.00/unit to $125.00/unit in addition to admin rates as required by local law. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications, duration of class, and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Responsibilities:
We're seeking a Temporary Group Exercise instructor to lead our fitness classes and to provide Front Desk Coverage. As our new team member you must be:
- Enthusiastic about Group Exercise classes and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh and innovative routines
- Confident in your professionalism by reporting on-time with a positive attitude and a passion to motivate others
- A professional who is collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio
- Consistently offer the highest level of personalized member customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude
- Greet and welcome new fitness center members, assist with membership enrollment and front desk operations
- Coordinate with Manager to ensure accurate payroll
- Assist and maintain accurate tracking of inventory items
- Assist with accurate fitness center membership reports and complete monthly membership audits
- Respond to Member's concerns, suggestions and complaints in a timely, professional and consistent manner.
- Assist with keeping the fitness centers well stocked and clean
- Other duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum of one year of experience actively leading successful Group Exercise classes
- Current nationally accredited Group Exercise certification (e.g. AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NETA) if necessary
- Instructors teaching licensed/branded formats (e.g. Zumba, Yoga) must also be trained and licensed to teach those specific formats
- Current CPR/AED certification (First Aid certification is strongly desired)
- Minimum of a High School diploma obtained
- Strong organizational skills and customer-service oriented approach
- Knowledge of Google applications and Microsoft Office applications
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
