Groundskeeper/Landscaper

Baltimore County Farm is in search of a full-time Groundskeeper/Landscaper to assist the Head Groundskeeper in maintaining and improving the cleanliness and operations of the farm. Main responsibilities will include mowing, trimming, and weeding, as well as caring for the chickens and ensuring the farm looks neat and tidy. Tasks may include mulching, leaf removal, tool maintenance, snow removal, tree care, managing third party contractors, and using environmentally sustainable practices.

The work schedule is Monday – Friday full-time flex schedule with forty (40) hours per week. This is a salaried position that includes paid time off and medical insurance.

This position requires:

-Valid MD Driver’s License.

-Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, gardening, etc.

-Previous experience with mowing and trimming equipment.

Preferred skills include:

-4 year bachelor's degree.

-Plant knowledge including identifying and dealing with invasives.

-Forestry management.

-Horticultural experience.

-Farming and agricultural experience.

-Small engine repair and maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
