Groundskeeper Houseman for Private Residence

A high-profile family is seeking a reliable groundskeeper that will undertake upkeep and repair tasks of the interior and exterior of the residence. The role will support the principal firm in managing his multiple homes based in Miami, FL.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting luxury properties, is well organized with strong general repair and maintenance skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.

Schedule: Five day work week, full-time hours 40 to 50 hours (flexibility required)

Responsibilities:

• House management and maintenance (interior & exterior)
• Ensure facilities are clean: Perform deep cleaning: wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep.
• Deep clean, pressure wash and maintain the exterior of the home.
• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds.
• Empty and clean trash cans
• Work with antiques, delicate/fragile items, fine linen, artwork, etc.
• Prepare home for overnight guests/parties/gatherings (including serving guests andclean up) Listen and respond to all resident’s queries and requests.
• Keep cleaning equipment in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance issues.
• Work with assisting the children as needed.
• Walk and feed all house pets as needed.
• Technical maintenance around the home
• Perform maintenance and light repairs.
• Handyman duties
• Supervise suppliers and maintenance services.
• Identify and report the need for major repairs.
• Additional errands as needed.

• Requirements:
• 5 years + experience
• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well unsupervised.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Handle maintenance and cleaning.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Travel as needed.
• Open to working weekends.
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems

Compensation and Benefits: $35-38/hr depending on experience, Overtime Pay, Healthcare (medical, vision, dental), Two Weeks PTO, other Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
