Groundskeeper (12 Month)(Full Time)

Position: Groundskeeper (12 month) (Full Time)

Start Date: ASAP

Work Day: various shifts available (summer hours may vary)
12:00pm-8:30pm (Monday-Friday) or 7:00am-3:30pm (Tuesday-Saturday)

Salary: $41,313.00

Required: Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally

Required: Valid driver license

Preferred Experience: Atleast one (1) year of full time paid work experience in groundskeeping and/or maintenance

Description: This is a manual work position which is responsible for the maintenance of grounds, athletic fields, playgrounds, roads/driveways/parking lots, etc. The Groundskeeper mows/cuts/rakes grass; other groundskeeping activities, such as seeding, fertilization, and watering lawns; transplants seedlings and plants and cares for trees and shrubs, including clipping and pruning; cleans grounds of trash and debris; removes garbage and delivers garbage to landfill; assists in maintenance of roads, driveways, parking lots; performs general maintenance tasks in the preparation and care of athletic fields as well as fences, goals, stands and other related equipment; assists in maintenance of roads and driveways; levels, grades and removes stones; removes snow from walkways and other areas; spreads sand and salt; drives motor equipment/motor vehicle as required for maintenance tasks; may make minor repairs to buildings and perform minor tasks of a semiskilled nature such as carpentry, welding, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical maintenance; assists in miscellaneous activities such as moving heavy objects.
