Grounds Worker & Facilities Team Member

Gettysburg College is currently seeking individuals to work 40 hrs/wk Monday – Friday during the summer in the Grounds Department. Two positions are available for tasks that will consist of assisting the College’s Grounds Department in its beautification efforts across campus. All general grounds duties are involved with this position, such as push mowing, string trimming, weeding, edging, mulching, flower planting, working with the college’s moving crew, and assisting with trash and recycling.
Status: Part-time, Casual (no benefits included)
Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour
Positions are anticipated to start sometime around May 13th with a commitment to stay through early to mid-August.
Some weekend and evening work may be required. Standard operating summer hours 6am-2:30pm daily.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered. Driver’s license preferred, but not required. A minimum of two years driving experience with a clean record is preferred, but not required.
