Job Overview:
Responsible for appearance and function of the golf course under the supervision of the Grounds Superintendent. These responsibilities include: turf maintenance (mowing), property/equipment maintenance (proper use of machines to maintain the golf course), help with irrigation system repairs, string trimming, sand trap maintenance, tournament set up preparation and other course maintenance as directed.
Primary Duties:
Responsible for mowing of fairways, greens, approaches and collars of greens and rough areas
Must be able to work independently and be a problem solver.
Works closely with Grounds Superintendent
Helps with repairs and maintenance on irrigation system
Helps maintain sand traps for appearance and play
Makes sure tee blocks and benches are moved for mowing
Pick up and removal of downed branches or debris
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Must be able to follow directions
Must be able to work independently
Knowledge of equipment used in golf course industry beneficial – not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
