Grounds Crew Member

The Kent Country Club Grounds Crew is looking to fill positions on our golf course maintenance team for the 2024 season. This is a seasonal job and only runs from April through November, depending on the weather (could end late October if weather takes a dive). Employees who excel and take pride in their work will be asked to come back the following year. We are flexible with hours but ideally are looking for people who can work 40+ hours Monday-Friday and every other weekend. Weekends are required and are all OT (after you meet the 40 hrs Mon-Friday) and typically are only 3-4 hours of work each morning (Saturday and Sunday).

Pay Rates range from $15-17/hr and up depending on experience. Uniforms, rain suits, DAILY LUNCHES are provided as well as free employee golf after work on Modnay's and select other days depending on tee time availability.

Job Requirements

-Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs

-Must be able to work in different weather conditions (light rain, wind, cold, etc) *Will not be asked to work outside with lightning/storms present

-Must have a dependable mode of transportation

-Must be able to work early mornings and be on time

-Typical workday is 5:30 am-2:00 pm in season

-Be familiar with or play the game of golf

-1 or 2 years of golf course maintenance/landscape experience a plus but not necessary.

-A "Can do" and glass half full attitude

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
