Grocery Clerks
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in finding products and answering their questions
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Promote sales by upselling and suggesting additional products
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for restocking needs
Skills:
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
- Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, is a plus
- Experience in wireless or technology sales is preferred
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and keep the store tidy
- Basic retail math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts
- Ability to sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate items
