Form of workResponsible to maintain greens of the Golf Course and surrounding areas based on department standards.
- Maintain sand trap areas.
- Operate equipment in order to maintain the area (e.g., blower, weed-eater, watering equipment set-up).
- Mow and maintain greens, tees, roughs, and approaches.
- Hand water designated areas.
- Maintain and repair irrigation system (Greenskeeper II).
- Apply fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide appropriately (Greenskeeper II).
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Greenskeeper I:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Must be able to safely utilize hand tools and landscaping equipment.
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry heavy objects (see Physical Requirements).
Greenskeeper II:
- The above, plus previous experience in golf maintenance preferred.
Compensation:
Base Pay Start Rate: $21.00
