SalaryThis is a great job if you love working outside, but it's a physical job that requires lifting and endurance. We are looking to hire someone for the spring season, but the job could work into a full time position if you show you can work hard.
Job requires assorted duties. You could be asked to do any number of things each day. Move flats of plants, hang baskets, pick up and rack orders, space plants, sweep and clean up greenhouses, work with a planting crew, load up and push racks and carts etc. This job is an entry level job that leads to a path to advance in the business. Please do not apply if you do not want to work hard. We work long hours Monday-Friday and you will be tired when you leave if you've done your job right. The position will require you to work with different types of people with many different opinions, ages and backgrounds, but we have an amazing group of staff that get along very well.
We will work very long hours in the spring (up to 55-60 hours per week).
Your starting pay will be decided on any experience that you may have in the greenhouse and nursery field.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
