LOCATION: Hunt Valley, MD

GRADE/RANGE: Contracted

POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the direction of the Lead Producer and Design Print Manager, the Graphic producer is responsible for assisting with the development of consumer package graphics. The incumbent ensures that all packaging graphics meet Marketing objectives while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.

This position regularly interacts with Marketing Management, Corporate Purchasing, Materials Management, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Product Evaluation, Package Engineering, Graphic Designers, and internal and external printers in coordination of graphic projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist in developing and ensure packaging graphics comply with government regulations,
meet Marketing objectives, and follow corporate mandates before releasing to printer.

· Responsible for artwork routing and approval

· Responsible for artwork to be accurate and released on time to adhere to strict deadlines

· Uploading packaging artwork PDF’s into SAP

· Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design or relevant discipline

· Packaging graphic design experience

· 1-2 years of project management experience

· Demonstrated success in prioritizing and balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in Mac based platforms and Adobe Creative Suite

· Proficiency in PC based programs Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word

· Ability to prepare written directives to outside vendors

· Demonstrated ability to influence and direct work through others using tact

· Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

· The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail.

· Handle a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, and work with tight deadlines.

· Excellent listening and communication skills.

· Take constructive feedback.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus

· Experience in commercial printing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Food CPG background

· Proficiency in SAP and BLUE Enterprise

· Workfront Experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
