Graphic Designer

Cahaba Media Group, a leader in B2B media, is seeking a talented and motivated magazine Designer to join our Creative Services department and help us create a publication that inspires and informs our readers. You'll be responsible for the layout and production (both print and digital) for two B2B brands.

Job Responsibilities

• Preproduction prep work on run lists and magazine track
• Conceptualize and design compelling layouts for feature articles, data visualizations, infographics, charts, and advertisements
• Develop and maintain a professional, informative visual identity that resonates with our target audience of business professionals.
• Collaborate with editors on the layouts and production
• Create a digital version of one of the brands monthly
• Download and check advertisements
• Design ads for advertisers, in-house advertisements
• Contribute to media guides, surveys and certified audience statements
• Help other designers with magazine productions when needed
• Stay up to date on industry trends and design best practices in the B2B space
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Be open to feedback and willing to make revisions to ensure designs are on point

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing for B2B publications or other magazines
• Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to communicate complex information clearly and visually
• Understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with editors, designers and the sales team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
