Graphic Design Intern

We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern within our marketing department. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will play a key role in creating content that captivates, motivates, and informs our customers, employees, and other intended audiences. This is a part-time position, expected to work 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating on a variety of marketing projects, including brochures, flyers, event materials, business cards, signage, website updates, and more.
• Supporting different company departments by meeting their marketing needs.
• Will take on additional tasks as assigned.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, working times will be arranged upon hire.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of design, layout and production of technical marketing and sales including advertising, flyers, brochures, website design and graphics, promotional items, and HTML
• Proven experience with design software, typography, and print production
• Proficient in computer design on PC or Mac with thorough knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to conduct independent research, synthesize what you’ve learned and use that knowledge to inform good business decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, including proofreading and grammar
• Ability to work 20 hours per week

Currently enrolled college student pursuing an AA Degree or higher lever degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred, but not required.
