Job Description
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), located in Reno, Nevada, actively maintains a pool of qualified individuals to be selected from, on an as needed basis, by the department to fulfill part-time, temporary, non-tenure track instructional needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications, Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising Design, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Responsibilities
Candidates must exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological and ethnic backgrounds.
The primary responsibility is to teach college-level and developmental courses. The position provides an opportunity for input into scheduling and course assignments.
Salary Information: $952 per credit on standard credit courses
Conditions of Employment
This is an on-going pool of qualified individuals interested in part-time, temporary non-tenure track instructional opportunities at Truckee Meadows Community College.
These opportunities are part-time only and will not be continued beyond the ending date. These opportunities may be terminated at will, at any time, for any reason, without notice; appointee has no appeal rights. Temporary assignments are not eligible for consideration for tenure as part of the assignment.
