Description & Details:
The Grants & Contract Officer position applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to manage an assigned portfolio and tasks of moderate scope and complexity; independently performs responsibilities; exercises judgement within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. This role is responsible for award administration including award set up, management, and closeout for contracts and grants in assigned portfolio.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00 (Academic Year); 7:30-4:00 (Summer)
Advertised Salary: $58,000+/year

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external constituents
- Strong attention to detail with organization and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate using data
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years related experience
- Understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Knowledge of federal and financial policies and regulations
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Finance modules
