Examples of Work
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide day-to-day management of subrecipient grants. This position will collaborate with various partners for assigned grant programs and provide ongoing technical assistance on grant requirements and regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing grant applications during the award period and assuring goals are met for funded projects.

Position will review and approve payments, working closely with financial points of contact to resolve issues. On-site and/or desk monitoring of programs for compliance with federal and state requirements will also be conducted. Review all necessary documentation including policies and procedures, civil rights documents, financial controls, and program implementation.

The position will also work closely with Executive Directors, State Officials, County Officials, Mayors, and other higher level administrators to resolve identified issues. Other duties as assigned within the scope of classification.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in grants management, business administration, public administration, accounting, budgeting, or a related fiscal field, and two years experience in grant management, contract administration, accounting, budgeting, or other fiscal related areas of work. Additional years of experience in the areas listed may substitute for the required education, on a year-for-year basis.

OTHER: This position requires minimal travel. As such, the incumbent must be able to present a valid driver's license or another form of reliable transportation. Regular and reliable attendance required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of accounting principles, program management, and grant management. Ability to comprehend and follow complex and technical procedures, communicate effectively, complete relatively difficult mathematical computations, and analyze program operations.
