Pay Range:  70-90k depending on experience

Job Summary

This position will direct the coordination of the day-to-day activities related to grain handling operations of a GRAIN ELEVATOR. The Elevator Manager is responsible for country elevator commodity marketing. This involves purchasing grain and requires the Manager to maintain a close relationship between Producers and Merchandisers, as well as freight personnel within the supply chain. Responsible for the physical assets as well as all Elevator staff on location. Manager will focus on enabling employee growth by coaching through individual performance development. This position will be required to maintain a positive, forthright attitude that promotes a collaborative, respectful, and diverse corporate culture, and conducts themselves in a professional and favorable manner.

WHO YOU ARE!   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• High school diploma or GED degree and/or equivalent training required. Four-year degree in Agri-business preferred but will consider work experience and education. 
• Experience with technical computer programs such as the AS400, Agris, and MS suite of products.
• Proven interpersonal skills; must support a team-oriented approach within the immediate facility as well as on behalf of United Grain Corporation.
• Ability to align with our values of Inclusivity, Integrity, Reliability, and Safety by contributing to the creation of solutions and positive experiences for team members, customers, and producers while providing a high level of customer care and service. 
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with Producers and Merchandising team daily.
• Maintenance experience with a mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Grain origination/grain marketing experience is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience managing people, elevator equipment, and elevator operations is essential.
