SEH is currently searching for a talented Graduate Water/Wastewater Engineer area to join our St. Paul, Minnesota team in a part-time, temporary capacity.

Your expertise coupled with a highly specialized team of engineers create solutions involving pilot testing, treatment and contaminant evaluations, and designs to sustain future water needs. What you will be doing:

• Focus on the design and construction observation of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance engineering solutions
• Have the flexibility to become involved in a variety of water and wastewater treatment, water distribution systems, sanitary/storm sewer collection systems, lift stations, and specialty hydraulic structures.
• Partner with a team of talented engineering professionals to deliver solutions that positively impact communities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Zero (0) to Two (2) years of previous experience
• Coursework or experience related to water and wastewater treatment and conveyance
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; occasional overnight travel will be required
• Must be okay with a temporary position working less than 25 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passed the FE/EIT exam
• Two (2) plus years of experience or previous internships in Water/Wastewater Engineering
• Previous experience or coursework in civil, chemical, environmental engineering including fluid mechanics, chemistry, heat transfer, unit process design, engineering economics, wastewater treatment, water treatment, construction principles
• Proficiency with BioWIN wastewater process modeling software
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling including: Bentley WaterGEMS and Innovyze InfoWater
• Proficiency with design applications including: AutoCAD and Civil 3D
