Essential Job Duties:Assisting with various aspects of providing access to digital archival materials.
Duties include preparing materials for digitization, digital reformatting, creating metadata records for scanned materials, performing quality control on images and metadata, copyright review, communicating with production staff.
Other duties as assigned, including work related to web archiving and description of archival materials.
Work will take place at the D. H. Hill Jr Library or the Administrative Services Annex (https://www.lib.ncsu.edu/scrc/administrative-services-annex).

Minimum Experience/Education:Bachelor’s degree; Currently attending graduate school.
Department Required Skills:Current graduate student status with strong writing skills, ability to pay attention to
detail, and work carefully and independently with fragile materials. This position
requires the ability to work with materials where dust or other allergens may be
present.
Understanding of archival collections; experience with Adobe Creative Suite; digital production or digital library experience. Current enrollment in a graduate program in Library Science, Public History, or Design is highly preferred.
