Job Summary:
A Graduate Data Coordinator manages graduate applications, reviews and evaluates applications, ensures accurate data in databases, collaborates with other departments, generates reports and analytics, processes assistantships, fellowships, and scholarships, creates standard operating procedures and documentation, and enhances their professional growth and development. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the graduate admissions process and student life-cycle management.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in information technology, information systems, data science, or related technical degree field; 2 plus years' experience in a data-related role; requires working with highly sensitive or confidential information and occasional overnight travel may occur.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SQL-based programming and experience with CRM databases
Physical Demands
Minimal physical demands.

Job Summary:
A Graduate Data Coordinator manages graduate applications, reviews and evaluates applications, ensures accurate data in databases, collaborates with other departments, generates reports and analytics, processes assistantships, fellowships, and scholarships, creates standard operating procedures and documentation, and enhances their professional growth and development. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the graduate admissions process and student life-cycle management.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
- Manages the receipt and processing of graduate applications through Slate, Colleague, Image-Now, and similar systems.
- Interacts and helps graduate assistants with prospective students via email, phone, or in-person to provide information about the admissions process, program details, and application requirements.
- Assists with student life-cycle management. Conducts graduation checks, ensures all students are enrolled and processes late enrollment, activates student programs (move to student), and coordinates late arrivals.
- Reviews and evaluates applications to determine whether applicants meet the admission criteria for the graduate program.
- Ensures accurate and up-to-date data in all databases, including applicant records and communication history.
- Collaborates with other departments, faculty, students, and staff to facilitate the admissions, enrollment, and graduation processing and addresses any issues.
- Generates reports and analytics related to student life-cycle metrics and outcomes. Collaborates with advancement and alumni engagement, career services, and institutional research offices for surveys. i.e., GMAC, U.S. World & News, AACSB, etc.
- Processes assistantships, fellowships, scholarships, etc. Works with Associate Dean and University Accounting to ensure that funds are being properly allocated.
- Creates standard operating procedures and documentation.
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, meetings, and workshops.
- Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned
