Raytheon is seeking a Government Property Specialist who will be part of a fast-paced innovative team. You will have the opportunity to work with internal and external customers to include Property and Logistics management, the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), various suppliers, and others that support the Raytheon property system.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the Property Management System including support of multiple property lifecycle areas to include but not limited to acquisition, receiving, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, relief of stewardship and contract closure.
  • Primary contact for all matters concerning management of assets to include special test equipment, tooling, and other material.
  • Provide training tailored to various program leaders, engineering teams and lab management.
  • Make recommendations and support opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Comply with all regulations and internal/external audit protocols.
  • Interact daily with various teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with others throughout the organization to encourage continued learning.
  • Develop and implement tactical goals.
  • Influence system solutions that support streamlining and integrating processes.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Obtain National Property Management Association, CPPS certification or able to obtain certification within 2 years of employment.
  • Industry experience in logistics, Government Property, and/or supply chain.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance areas including interpreting and implementing FAR and DFAR contract property requirements.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM)


Education:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
