This position will manage Government Property in accordance with USG requirements.
- Manages lifecycle (acquisition thru disposition) and reporting of personal and real property in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Creates, updates and maintains auditable records of government owned property (Personal Property and Real Property)
- Conducts audits of government equipment to identify items on non compliance
- Prepares, modfies, and manages plant clearance cases
- Oversees execution of physical inventories, audits, and relief of liability reports
- Administer the sales of government equipment
- Conducts investigations to resolve various property issues, such as loss and damage
- Generates, maintains, and reports various documents necessary for handling Government Property:
- DD1342 DOD Property Record
- DD1149 Requisition and Invoice/Shipping Document
- DD1354 Transfer and Acceptance of DOD Real Property
- DD1638 Report of Disposition of Contractor Inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic math skills needed to accurately identify and count inventory levels
- Must be willing to work flexible hours when inventory counts are needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Business or related fieldor equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) if not certified, agrees to get certified within first year of employment
- Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
- Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP)
- Item Unique Identification (IUID) Registry
- Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)
- Plant Clearance Reutilization Screening System (PCARSS)
- General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software; Project Management software and Manufacturing software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successful communicate with all levels of personnel
- Demonstrates critical thinking and analysis skills
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Powerpoint, Office 365
