Government Contract Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a Government Contract Specialist with proven experience in procuring Government Contracts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the government procurement process and will possess the necessary skills to effectively navigate through complex regulations. Maintain GSA contracts, overseeing contract administration, compliance and performance to ensure successful contract execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing contract requirements, preparing bid documents, and managing the entire contract negotiation process. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role. Lead the effort to obtain SBA HubZone certification.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
- Prepare and draft contract documents, including amendments and addendums
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for contract development
- Maintain accurate records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation
- Monitor contract performance to ensure obligations are met by all parties involved
- Identify and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes that may arise

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex contractual documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of legal terminology and contract law principles

-Have experience with Sam.gov, VA.gov and grantsgateway.com

Pay: $20.04 - $30.96 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 5 per week
