Job Summary – Gourmet Cheese:
- Provide prompt and courteous service to the customers
- Maintain knowledge of all products sold in the department
- Cut cheeses to customer’s preference
- Weigh, wrap, code and price products accurately
- Replenish shelves, check for out-of-code items and rotate product
- Prepare party trays and arrange foods according to established guidelines
- Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program
- Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation.
- Friendly personality and “customer service” mentality.
- Must be 18 years of age
Physical Demands:
- Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty
- Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time
- Work safely around machines and knives.
- Lift, push, and/or pull items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.
