Ready To Go is a division of Good News Garage that provides transportation for individuals and families in Vermont that uses donated minivans for clients to access essential life activities, including jobs, job training and childcare. Ready To Go provides more than 30,000 rides annually across the state of Vermont!
Our ready to go program is currently seeking Drivers! As our newest driver you will be responsible for getting our clients to/from their destination. Our clients range from infants to the elderly. We pride ourselves on providing the clients with a safe and friendly ride and assisting them when necessary with mobility troubles.
The company vehicle and smart phones are provided!
Must be available 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, on average, but not driving more than 8 hours during that time period.

Qualifications:
- Excellent driver with good vision, a clean driving record and valid driver’s license (no CDL required)
- Personable, patient, and friendly demeanor, putting riders and parents at ease
- Clear communicator with independent decision-making abilities; a readiness willing to work closely with general public, and staff as a courteous Ascentria Care Alliance representative
- Must be able to effectively use smartphones and GPS app to locate clients and destinations
- Must be available 6:00 am to 6:00 pm., on average, but not driving more than 8 hours during that time period.
