Golf Shop Attendant

Landscapes Golf Management and Greeley Country Club in Greeley, CO is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Part-Time Golf Shop Attendants to join our team. As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our golfers and ensuring the smooth operation of the GOLF SHOP.

JOB SUMMARY

The Golf Shop Attendant maintains GOLF SHOP operations by opening and closing the GOLF SHOP, processing all member & guest purchases and inquiries, booking tee times and working with other staff members to make for unforgettable experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Registers golfers for their tee times, checks in all member and guest play.
• Assist members/customers with merchandise questions courteously and professionally.
• Cash out members/customers and monitor the front counter.
• Use of the POS system to set up tee times and charge member accounts
• Stock, tag and display merchandise on GOLF SHOP floor ensuring all merchandise is neatly arranged and restocked to proper level.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the GOLF SHOP.
• Handle customer service request of members in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintains neat, well groomed, professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.
• Assists with the set up of tournaments, leagues or other golf events.
• Assist with merchandise inventory when needed.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.
• Performs additional assignments per the direction of the club or Company managers.
• Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
• Supervising outside service staff when Golf Professionals are not present.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Can compute simple math and count change accurately.
• Operate Excel and Word spreadsheets.

WORK HOURS AND CONDITIONS

Work hours may include early mornings and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. May be exposed to inclement (non-threatening) weather.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous Golf Shop Attendant experience preferred.
• Retail experience in a customer service position preferred.
• Golf experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 75-100%
• Standing and walking 50 -75%
• Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0 -25%
• Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 25 -75%
• Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0 - 25%
