Essential Job Functions
- Check in golfers at the shop sales counter giving complete service to all guests.
- Advise prospective guests of specific details pertaining to fee structure, golf course
- features and amenities.
- Assist with the pricing, stocking, displaying, and rearranging of retail merchandise.
- Help keep the Golf Shop neat and clean at all times.
- Maintain contact with the tee starter, course monitors and cart attendants concerning
- service, tee times, messages, etc.
- Inform guests of all course conditions prior to sending them out to the tee starter or
- course.
- Enforce Denison Golf Club dress code policy for the golf course.
- Open and close out the Point of Sale system according to the procedures set by the golf
- shop. Responsible for preparing the Golf Shop for next day’s business.
- Assist with monthly physical inventory and assist the golf staff with all policies,
- procedures and provide the highest level of service to our members and guests.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be people-oriented; operate effectively under stress; be highly self- motivated; lead
by example; reliably exercise sound judgment; provide excellent customer service; have
strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable in a highly fluid work environment; ability to manage multiple tasks
and projects simultaneously; highly organized; ability to plan ahead so as to maximize
efficiency based on available resources.
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
